How much does a fake Lynn University degree
The school first opened in 1962 as Marymount College, a girls’ junior college founded by the Sacred Heart of Our Lady (RSHM). Due to financial difficulties, Marymount College tried to sell books from its library. Donald E. Ross visited the campus to purchase the library, but was inspired by the school to stay and help it succeed. In 1971, the transition period began and the school was placed under the control of a lay committee. At the time, Donald E. Ross was named president. In 1974, it was renamed Boca Raton College.
The college received secondary accreditation in 1986. In 1988, it received Level 3 certification. During this period, it transformed from a two-year school to a four-year university with a master’s program.
Boca Raton College became Lynn University in 1991 in honor of its benefactors, the Lynn family.
In 2003-2004, Donald E. Ross’s salary exceeded $5 million, making him the highest-paid college or university president in the nation at the time.
Lynn University hired KPMG, the national accounting firm, to determine a fair retirement compensation package for Ross, considering his performance and 35 years of service (“Set aside over $4.5 million for his planned retirement in June 2006— — a massive cash influx designed to make up for decades of no retirement benefits allotted due to budgetary issues).
That’s one-third of the university’s endowment. On July 1, 2006, Ross retired after 35 years as the school’s principal; Kevin M. Ross succeeded his father.
